So now that you all have a rock-solid core, it’s time to picture your new self in some pieces from our spring collection. We have already previewed a couple items, and time is running out before the entire collection is available (exciting, isn’t it?). This week we have the Ivory top in Green, paired with the Lori Capri in Black. The Ivory top is fantastic to wear, and extremely versatile. While I think this top is comfortable and perfect for anyone to throw over her sports bra, I find it particularly appealing for pregnant women. The empire waistline, and the long flutter hem that pulls away from the body are both comfortable and flattering for a pregnant woman. However, that is that nature of bamboo fabric - always flattering, cool when you need it, warm when you want it, and always comfortable! So I encourage everyone to take a look at the Ivory top, and consider it as an addition to your personal lounge-wear collection.

Alright ladies, it’s week two of our spring preview. This week, I think you’ll be impressed with the pick. When people think about workout clothing, they often underestimate the creativity behind it. In order to feel your best while working out, or at least to help motivate you to workout, your clothing should feel and look beautiful. At IVEE, we try to bridge to gap between practical and fashionable. We are pulling the two even closer with the spring collection because we are bringing more bamboo into the equation. Bamboo fabric is practical (environmentally) and fashionable (it washes great and fits beautifully on your figure).

This week we are featuring the Kayla Tunic in black paired with the Stella Capri in White. The great thing about the Kayla Tunic is the fit. The wide band hugs the hip to prevent riding up. The cap sleeve style and zipper that meets the belly button allow for breathability and versatility. You can run with this top as is, or use it for extra warmth over your tank or sports bra. Join Ivee and YogaSakti on Wednesday for a yoga holiday party! Hosted at YogaSakti’s beautiful studio at 29 Bridge Street Salem Mass, this is bound to be a fantastic party. They are gracious enough to host a free yoga class from 7-8. Then there will be champagne, chocolate and Ivee! We will have clothing samples and a chance to win a $300 Ivee shopping spree.

 Whether you’re trying to escape the northern exposure with a tropical retreat, or visiting the in-laws in the Midwest, at some point this year, billions of us will hit the airport, determined to make our destination as comfortable as possible. Which thanks to tight seating and ferociously priced first class fare, may seem unattainable.

But it’s time to bring the airy-feeling back into air lining. Traveling comfortable and chic is not unattainable — just by donning IVEE’s Hannah Wide-Leg Bamboo Pants and the new IVEE Bamboo Tee, you’re already on the road, (er, in the air) for a relaxing takeoff. Made with Bamboo fiber, this wide-leg pants will focus your attention on the choice of beverage rather than your restrictive jeans. Some other rules of the road (again, air. Sorry, we can’t resist!), to make your trip more enjoyable:

• Keep it simple. Wear comfortable shoes (you’ll most likely need to remove them at security, so intricate latches and lace-ups may be more annoying than fashion-friendly). Don’t overload your carry-on luggage. Keep the essentials packed, and don’t over pack if possible.

If you are stuck in the middle seat or can’t find your way out to walk up the aisle, there are some in-seat exercises that will help keep your blood flowing. Circle your ankles or stretching your arms are some easy ways to keep in tune to your health while flying for extended periods.
• Have a nice flight, and don’t forget - many hotels have impressive gyms that go unused. Don’t forget to pack coordinated IVEE fashion activewear outfits and bring along.

Vacationing from health may seem like a good idea, but what else will make you feel better about ordering dessert and drinks than a “fashionable” trek on the treadmill?

It’s like searching for the ideal shade of lipstick only to come across Ruby Run….the one which adds the precise touch of color to your intricately perfected puckers. That can be exactly how we feel when we hit the gym, in something that not only works with our bodies, but also enhances our confidence.
 
Getting in shape (or staying in shape) is never easy, whether you’re well-heeled or not.  Unless you’re one of those women who add “exercise” to her interests, it probably takes a bit of a push to get into gear for another workout session. But sometimes, all it really takes is a little beauty boost.

Ladies, take charge and start your own fashion revolution this summer. Throw away the oversized tees, the bunchy sweat pants, the unflattering shorts. Rediscover your body and give your work out clothes a makeover. If you dress the part, you will act the part. Glamour magazine’s celebrity trainer, David Kirsch who trains Liv Tyler and Heidi Klum, has banned the baggy clothes from his gym — why? “The more you see, the more you’re motivated.”
